Elaine Mary Leis, age 65, of Clare, went to be with her heavenly father on March 5, 2010.  She was born the daughter of William G. and Norma I. (Kever) Leis on Oct. 25, 1944, in Clare.  Elaine lived a full and happy life which included participating with MMI, the Special Olympics, volunteering at North Woods Nursing Home, her membership at Clare Church of the Nazarene, and the company of her many animal friends over the years.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends, as she touched the hearts of so many.<br />
Elaine is survived by her sister, Anna Ellison, brothers, Carl (Patricia) Leis, and Kenneth (Julie) Leis, as well as 7 nieces, 6 nephews, 9 great nieces, and 9 great nephews.<br />
