Andrew R. Winter, age 60 of Clare, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.  He was born the son of Richard N. and Mary (Colmus) Winter on June 14, 1949 in Clare.  Andrew enjoyed shooting pool and was a champion pool player at the High Rise.  He liked to fish and tend his flowers and plants.  Andrew had a deep love for animals, his family, and enjoyed making homemade crafts.<br />
     Andrew leaves behind his siblings Beverly Mapes-Kirbey of Clare, Doris (James) Henry of Washington, Mabel (Bobby) Davenport of Georgia, Ron Winter, Sr. of Farwell, and Alice (John) Harris of Farwell.  Andrew also leaves behind his beloved wife Jean Winter and her sons Mark Sanger and Michael Sanger both of Clare.  Also surviving Andrew are Jan and Thelma Foster of Mt. Pleasant, and many loving nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by his Gateway Apartment Family.  Andrew was predeceased by his parents; his brothers John (Jack) and Leonard; his "Aunt" Mary Winter Shafer and Uncle James Shafer, and his niece Heather Winter.<br />
